It is our absolute pleasure in this place to welcome a young man named Dusty to Parliament House.
Dusty is from Warren in my electorate of Parkes, and he has walked about 540km to Canberra. It has been a journey that has been month s in the making with the support of his family, including his mum Sarah and the whole community, to raise money for Little Wings.
I first met with Little Wings at Nyngan as I travelled the electorate before the election and have heard many, many stories about the work this great organisation does to help save lives. It is truly an organisation that brings heart, skills and resources together to provide healthcare in regional areas.
